And we have Diablo jobs in the works. Some of them are going to take longer than others. But we may have some things to show you this year. While we work to bring these Diablo experiences to life, we hope you stay tuned. None of this would be possible without the support that you've shown us for more than 20 decades. So you are a veteran or whether you joined us, thanks you. Diablo isalso, and always will be Diablo Immortal Gold, part of Blizzard's individuality, and we can't await the long run "

The statement clearly indicates that there are Diablo jobs in the works. This usually means that a game is a possibility. The hint were job listing published by Blizzard, such as: ``''we're working on a brand new Diablo job. Are you a skilled Dungeon Artist? Come work with us, and together we'll build something exceptional." It seems that Blizzard was looking for artists, and back in 2016 it announced that it searches a game director for Diablo. It is probable that Diablo 4 may be in the works.

Blizzard won't launch any significant names in 2019, Activision supported during an earnings call (via IGN) in February, the same one that also cost almost 800 employees their jobs. Regardless of the fact that the movement was apparently made in order to beef up the development teams Blizzard won't have much to show for this season. "Turning to Blizzard, we expect materially lower financial performance this season," Activision explained.

Blizzard and Activision have reportedly clashed on the company's output during the past couple of decades as Kotaku clarified in the wake of the huge layoffs. Updates and expansions to its existing lineup of titles notwithstanding, Blizzard has not sent a significant release because 2016's Overwatch, a sport that is still going very strong, particularly now that it's in the esports industry, but is a far cry from Activision's yearly release schedule. Needless to say, Blizzard is looking to pick the pace up.

Activision clarified the absence of major titles this year will hurt Blizzard's financials:"While these factors will weigh on Blizzard's financials this year, looking further forward, Blizzard's pipeline of PC, console, and cellular content is richer than ever, and we expect the substantial addition of development resources to accelerate the speed of shipping as time passes. "The only title on Blizzard's background for 2019 is a remaster of Warcraft 3, which doesn't have a good release date as of yet. In addition, in the pipeline is that the Diablo Immortal cell game, which got the ire of fans at last year's Blizzcon during Q&A session and a contentious keynote speech. Diablo Immortal is not yet confirmed for 2019, and the comments generated during the earnings call may mean the game is going to be pushed to 2020.
