We work with owners, General Contractors and equipment vendors to verify electrical, mechanical and control systems against the agreed design intent.
Our scope spans commissioning strategy and design review, factory acceptance testing, installation readiness, energisation and start-up, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing and operational handover. We develop test procedures, coordinate readiness reviews and witness points, and track deficiencies through corrective work and retesting. The outcome is a documented basis for progression and handover, with outstanding risks and responsibilities clearly identified.
Commissioning Software & Digital Handover
We develop scheduling platforms integrated with Primavera P6 and bespoke ACMS for commissioning checklists, asset and system tags and issue tracking. Digital handover platforms bring operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, test records and supporting documentation together around the customer’s requirements.

DLC Expertise, From Design to Operation
QMC are the go-to design consultants and commissioning experts for Direct Liquid Cooling in data centres. Our industry-recognised expertise combines design consultancy with extensive experience in the construction implementation of customer designs.
We bring facility water, coolant distribution units (CDUs), technology cooling loops and rack interfaces into one coordinated scope. Full commissioning lifecycle support and verification across Levels 0-6 connects design intent, installation quality, testing and operational handover.
Design Consultancy & Interfaces
Review cooling architecture, pipe materials, CDU arrangements and facility-to-rack interfaces against customer requirements. Resolve hydraulic, thermal, instrumentation and control-sequence requirements before they become site constraints.
Construction Implementation
Apply extensive experience implementing customer DLC designs. Support pipework material selection and compatibility, installation methods, jointing, supports, valve access, hose connections and inspection hold points.
Flushing, Cleaning & Water Quality
Plan and verify rigorous flushing and cleaning regimes. Review cleanliness, filtration, sampling and water-quality results against project specifications and equipment manufacturers' requirements before system release.
TAB & Thermal Performance
Carry out testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB). Establish design flow rates and differential pressures, verify CDU and rack distribution, and demonstrate hydraulic and thermal performance against agreed load conditions.
Controls Commissioning & Tuning
Commission and tune CDU, pump and valve control sequences for stable temperature and pressure control. Verify sensors, BMS interfaces, alarms, interlocks, duty/standby changeover and agreed fault-recovery scenarios.
Integrated Testing & Handover
Demonstrate cooling performance alongside critical power and controls through integrated systems testing. Verify corrective actions, final settings and acceptance records to support operational handover.
Commissioning Authority (CxA)
